How to configure IPTV on the MYTVonline App of the Formuler Box?

Published by iviewTV on

The Formuler Z8 is an Android TV box that caters to IPTV users with its MyTV Online 2 app. The device is currently running Android 7, not Android TV. This chapter of the guide describes how to configure IPTV on the Formuler Box MYTVonline App, and we’ll show you how to bring your IPTV subscription to your MYTV Online on FormulerZ.

About MyTvOnline

MyTvOnline works on any Android devices (requires Android 5.0 or later). You can also install and run this application on your computer by using an Android emulator app.

The “MyTV Online 2” application is a pre-installed app for devices from the manufacturer “Formuler”. The app is available in two different versions. The “MyTV Online” app is available for Formuler Z7+ and older models, as well as Formuler Z Nano.

“MyTV Online 2” is therefore available for devices Formuler Z8 or newer. This is an Android application that can be used on both the Stalker/MAG system and Xtream Codes. Set up your Formuler device in just a few steps.

FormulerZ or S Boxes with MyTvOnline application use the following three configuration methods:

  • Portal/Stalker with MAC/ID registered with IPTV provider
  • Xtreme Codes Api (XC) with username and password
  • M3U Playlists

Formuler: New Features

The recently released Formuler Remote app introduces a new mouse feature that enhances the user experience of mobile apps. Mobile-only apps are not easy to use in the Android TV environment, and there are still many apps that are not optimized for the Android TV operating system.

With the new mouse feature, you can easily scroll to all 4 directions in the mobile app using the D-pad or other designated keys. These functions are available in both the GTV-BT1 and GTV-IR1 remote controls.

Configuring the Portal on MyTvOnline

After subscribing to an IPTV subscription, you will receive the Portal link to use, which must be inserted into the MyTvOnline application. For example http://new-pro.tv:8080/c

Your mac address will be registered on our side of the server (when registering, please enter the mac address of your Formuler Z/S box. It starts with 00:1A:79:…. starting with).

Go to MyTvOnline > Menu > Portal → Edit Portal (see video)

The only difference is that instead of registering the MAC address, you insert the login data (username and password). We provide you with this data directly.

Suppose you are given data, for example:
Portal: http://www.family4kiptv.com, Username: family4k Password:123456.

Portal title: family4k IPTV
Portal URL: http://www.family4kiptv.com
Do I need to log in? Yes, please enable it. Username: family4k
Password:123456

Setting M3U links on MyTvOnline

M3U playlist URLs are different and much longer than Portal or XC (Xtream-codes) URLs.
If you get an M3U URL, it may look like the following example: http://line.family4kiptv.com/get.php?username=family4k&password=123456&type=m3u

The EPG XML URL should be similar to the following example: “http://line.family4kiptv.com/xmltv.php?username=family4k&password=123456”.

Setup IPTV Subscription on Formuler Mytvonline

Installing an IPTV subscription on MyTVOnline requires a MAC address, and this MAC address must be communicated to your provider. It is thanks to this address that your device “will be authorized” to access the provider’s IPTV server. Next, I will explain how you can subscribe to the IPTV 4k service.

I will suggest Family4K IPTV providers for you, click on the subscription page and choose the package you want, or you can chat with the online customer service and tell them what you want and they will give you the corresponding package you want. With a quick and easy subscription, you will get the MAC address as well as the M3U link, and code.
